Heralded as the only real source of authentic pinewood and a timeless treasure that cannot be passed up, pine wood flooring is staging it’s maneuverability to make a comeback. Pine flooring has called out against other types of less authentic woods such as composite, thin veneer, Oak, or laminate flooring and has positioned itself to remain as the source for flooring all across America.

While pine flooring has its heart in the right place, it may not be thinking straight with its claims. It seems that pine flooring is holding onto these ideals that were established back in the 1800 than before when everybody's time. The truth is clear that pine once was a huge part of our culture and a huge part of our legacy in America. However those days are gone and it is true now that we need to be forward thinking and not be relying on the claims of the past. It is for this reason that it would seem that pine flooring has lost much of its former luster.
