While it may be one of the least desirable types of wood to build a home win, Oak flooring does have its place in the popular culture and it can have its place in your home with a little bit of work. Oak flooring needs to be heavily saturated with all the right treatments and it can not be shorted on any of the use as you don't want to be stuck with a piece of floor or wall that has a big hole in it because it is made with untreated Oak wood.
